Dear Parishioners,
The Church for the first time spread beyond Jerusalem. With the Baptism of Paul, at Damascus and his journey to Arabia for three years the Christian faith was spread beyond the borders of Judaism. We are all called to spread the Gospel of Christ fearlessly in our various capacity in love and in peace.
Love of God above all and love of our neighbour as ourselves are the two commandments that summarised all laws and prophets. Practising these commandments is the through and practical testimony to the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Out of love for us, he suffered, died and rose from the dead to prepare a befitting eternal life for us.
As followers of Christ, we must be ready to bear the pain of pruning, as to adhere ourselves to the Lord Jesus Christ who gives life and eternal bliss at the end of time. We must be ready through our love and trust in God and self-giving to others, to make our world a better place.
These must be done in Love without compromising our faith and believes as Christians.
God bless you,
Fr Jerome O. Dukiya, CSSp
